In their 2017 rankings, ChristianUniversitiesOnline.org names Hope International University as one of the 50 Best Value Christian Colleges and Universities. This annual CUO ranking takes several criteria into account to determine Best Value – think “return on investment” – among Christian Colleges and Universities throughout the U.S.

While cost is not necessarily the primary measure of a school’s value and quality, it is a valid and important consideration. The cost of a degree is steadily (or dramatically) increasing, and while overall “net price” is not insignificant, the net value is a better measure when considering higher education on a budget.

HIU boasts an impressive overall retention rate of 91% with an overall graduation rate of 42%. Net cost of attendance is $21,374 and financial aid is readily available to students in a variety of forms including grants and scholarships, as evidenced by the fact that 99% of full-time, beginning undergraduate students receive some form of financial aid.
