HIU Presents "Leadworship Workshop" Featuring Paul Baloche

Posted: February 4, 2015

HIU’s new Center for Music & Worship Arts proudly presents a “Leadworship Workshop” featuring highly-acclaimed Christian recording artist Paul Baloche. The workshop is scheduled for February 13 & 14 at Sa-Rang Community Church in Anaheim, CA. The weekend includes a very special Night of Worship on Friday, February 13, in which a mass worship choir of HIU students will sing on stage with Baloche.

Through Leadworship Workshops, Paul Baloche creates a 24-hour worship retreat that will inspire and strengthen groups to impact the congregations they serve. Each general session and workshop is designed to:

  • Encourage and equip entire worship teams
  • Deepen the spiritual life of each team member
  • Be interactive, up-close and personal with each presenter
  • Increase each participant’s passion for leading others in their local church

Paul Baloche has received numerous Dove awards over the years for his song writing. Some of his songs rank among the most-performed songs in church services, including “Open the Eyes of My Heart”, “Hosanna”, and “Your Name.” He is currently the worship pastor at Community Christian Fellowship in Lindale, Texas.

Australian native Mia Fieldes will be the featured special guest. Mia has written and performed in several recordings released by Hillsong Church. Some of the songs she has written include “Christ is Risen”, “Not For a Moment”, and “Savior King.” She currently lives in Nashville where she collaborates with a variety of Christian artists including Kari Jobe, Matt Maher, and for King and Country.

Individual registration is $59 and groups of 4 or more are $49 per person. The Friday Night of Worship is available as a separate event for the general public. To register for the event and purchase tickets, click here or visit Leadworshp.com.
