"Preaching Profiled" Series at HIU

Continuing HIU’s longstanding commitment to raising up highly effective preachers and teachers, this semester our Pacific Christian College of Ministry and Biblical Studies will host a series of special guest lecturers who will each share their invaluable knowledge and unique experiences. This Homiletics class is co-hosted on 2 campuses: in Fullerton by Adjunct Professor Mike Goldsworthy, Senior Pastor at Parkcrest Christian Church; and in Omaha by Nebraska Christian College’s Associate Professor Bill Thornton.

These special lectures will be held in Room 105. They are open to the public and will also be live-streamed for our Nebraska campus community.

  • September 20th and 22nd  (10:45am-12:00) - Bruce Templeton, Senior Pastor at Unity Christian

  • September 29th (10:45am-12:00) - Gene Appel, Senior Pastor at Eastside Christian Church

       Join Pastor Appel for lunch in the Christensen Room immediately following the lecture 

  • October 11th and 13th (10:45am-12:00) - Jeremy Jernigan, Executive Pastor of Creative Arts and Students at Central Christian Church in Mesa Arizona

         Join Pastor Jernigan for lunch in the Christensen Room immediately following the lecture
