Fall Fling Sale Benefits HIU

Posted: October 27, 2013

Treasures N’ Beyond will be holding its annual Fall Fling sale on Friday, Nov. 8, and Saturday Nov. 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The inside/outside sale will feature Christmas items, Christmas books, collectibles, pictures and frames, baskets, toys, stuffed animals, jewelry including watches and bracelets, and more. The store is currently seeking additional volunteers and donations to help with the Fall Fling.

Treasures N’ Beyond is a thrift store that was established by the Pacific Christian Women’s Association as a way of supporting the students of Hope International University. Profits made from the sale of donated items are sent to HIU to fund projects and scholarships.

Since its doors opened in 1984, Treasures N’ Beyond has donated over $850,000 to HIU for scholarships and projects. Located at 400 E. Commonwealth Ave in Fullerton and staffed with volunteers from HIU, the community, and local churches, the store is managed by Katherine Rowe, wife of Dr. John Rowe, Liaison to Treasures N’ Beyond  and Senior Development Officer at Hope.

For information on donations and volunteering, contact Katherine Rowe on Mondays or Ruth Mullikin on Wednesdays between 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at 714-447-3016.
