Advice to prospective students?
In today’s fast-paced world, making the decision and commitment to go back to school can seem overwhelming and anxiety-provoking. My advice and encouragement is to see it as an investment in yourself, as a pathway to achieving your goals and dreams, which for many people can mean the realization of something they might not have thought possible. It is such an honor and blessing to walk alongside students who have made that investment and realized those dreams. The online programs, genuine caring and dedication of staff and faculty and flexibility of courses make pursuing a degree at Hope worth it! As a Hope graduate, I can wholeheartedly say that I received wonderful support and encouragement along with all the tools I needed to reach my educational goals and achieve my dreams.
How do you spend your free time?
I love to read, going to the movies, concerts, restaurants, spending time with friends, playing the piano, and volunteering with the care ministry at my church.

Degree(s): M.A. E.D. Instructional Leadership, Argosy University B.A. Journalism, San Francisco State University

Advice to prospective students?
I tell students to follow their dreams, work hard and persevere. If you want something bad enough you will find a way to achieve your goal. I encourage students to let God guide them and they will accomplish more than you ever imagined. The joy of my position is being a part of students’ successes. It is amazing to see my students cross the stage at graduation and know I have been a part of their journey at Hope International University.
How do you spend your free time?
On my free time I enjoy my hobby of photography. I’ve exhibited my photos in art galleries in the Long Beach Art District for the past 10 years. I have experience as a wedding and portrait photographer, which gives me great joy to capture beautiful images of people in special moments of their lives. I also enjoy spending time in nature by camping, hiking, or running. I love to travel and last year I had the opportunity to go to Spain, Italy and France. I look forward to many future trips around the globe.
