Higgins has a passion for reaching untold people groups as well as empowering individuals to use their gifts and teaching them servant leadership. He weaves these throughout all his endeavors.

Higgins also met his wife, Paula, during his college years at Pacific Christian College of Hope International University. Higgins states “Our times there were great, growing and challenging. We knew what we were called to do and PCC provided us the platform to start.

Through mentorship by Dr. John Rowe and President Medford Jones, I learned that the world was much bigger than Southern California and the Church much richer than just one faith group. The classes in the M.A. Ministry program were practical and launched me to keep pressing outward and beyond what I thought I was capable of doing.”
