For twenty-six years David Morgan (BA ’81) has been a devoted servant leader in the Overlake Christian Church community in Redmond, WA. Morgan has been a part of Overlake Christian Church in Redmond, WA since his junior high years, and after graduating from Hope, he returned to his home church to become one of the nation’s leading worship pastors. For the last quarter century Morgan has been serving in several ways including the weekly planning and leading of worship, directing choirs and ensembles, producing annual musical performances, producing several recording projects, serving on the senior leadership team of the church, and occasionally teaching for weekend services.

In addition to serving at Overlake Christian Church, Morgan has served in many areas within the local community and on a national, and even global level. He has led worship services at numerous camps, conferences, and crusades around the country including multiple Promise Keepers conferences. Morgan’s work with renowned evangelist Mike Silva has also given him the opportunity to lead worship services across the United States and around the world. In 2005 he received the “Northwest Most Distinguished Musician Award” from the Northwest Christian Artists Association.

Morgan lives in Duvall, WA with his wife Diane and two children Danea and D.J.
