Graduation Year: 1996, 1999

Michael Daehn (BA '96, MBA '99) has recently released his sixth book, entitled Marketing the Church: How to Communicate Your Church's Purpose and Passion in a Modern Context. Marketing the Church focuses on helping churches implement marketing principles to communicate their vision to the outside community. Daehn continued his efforts to educate the Church on the benefits of sound marketing techniques through his creation of an online marketing course for churches called "Marketing Your Church 101". His program provides individuals and organizations access to invaluable marketing information over the web. The coursework is specifically designed to cater to churches and non-profit organizations that need help sharing their vision.

Daehn graduated with a BA in Religion from PCC in '96. He continued his education with the Hope MA in Ministry program and decided to complete his MBA in Non-profit Management at Hope as well. While attending HIU, Michael coordinated the Hope online MBA program, one of the first online education programs in the country.

Since graduation, Daehn has been helping churches and non-profit organizations understand how they can use good marketing principles to be more effective at communicating the Gospel. Along with his schedule as a consultant and speaker, Daehn teaches courses online for Hope from his home in St. Louis, MO.
