Pastor Dane Davis (BA ’96; MA ’97) will be holding a book signing for his recently released book,Holy Huldah! Lessons You Should Never Forget From Bible Characters You've Never Heard Of. The signing is Saturday, November 2, at 12 p.m. at LifeWay Christian Store in Brea.

In Holy Huldah!, readers follow along as Davis takes them through the stories of seventeen obscure Old Testament characters, all the while finding contemporary applications.

Dr. Derry, President of Hope International University, has his recommendation printed inside the book saying “Like an investigative journalist, Pastor Davis uncovers the rest of the story and identifies those behind-the-scenes personalities who were influential in some of the high-profile events of the Old Testament.”

Written with church leaders and members as well as students and anyone who wants to learn more about the Bible in mind, Holy Huldah! has been called “informative, instructive, challenging and fun” by Dr. Joe Grana, Dean of Pacific Christian College of Ministry & Biblical Studies at HIU. “This book will enlighten your understanding of Scripture, characters of the Bible, and your own character,” said Dr. Grana in an endorsement on the back of the book.

Former HIU President Dr. LeRoy Lawson also praised the book as well as Davis’ ability to find “nuggets of wisdom for everyday living” within these forgotten Biblical stories.

Released online and in select Barnes & Noble and other retailers earlier this month, Holy Huldah!is Dane Davis’ first book. He is the Lead Pastor at First Christian Church in Victorville, CA, and lives in Apple Valley, CA with his wife and their four daughters.
