Grad MFT Program Announces Partnership with Gottman Training Institute

Hope International University’s graduate program in Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) is proud to announce a new partnership with the Gottman Training Institute University Outreach Program. This agreement allows HIU MFT and Counseling Psychology students, graduates, and faculty access to Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 Clinical Training and Level 2 Clinical Training. 

Level 1 Clinical Trainings in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy consists of a 2-day course and includes a 300-page comprehensive manual and Level 1 certificate. Upon successful completion, participant also may elect to receive a certificate for 11 Continuing Education Units (at additional cost). This course will be held February 24-25, 2017.

Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy certification will be covered over a 4-day, 2-weekend format on April 21-22 and May 5-6. The course includes a comprehensive 500-page training and application manual and Level 2 certificate. Upon successful completion of the course, participates also are eligible to receive a certificate for 22 Continuing Education Units (at additional cost).
