2/28/2008 - Royals Slowed by Injuries Against Sea Lions
San Diego, CA- A rash of injuries forced the Royals to forfeit 3 points against GSAC rival #7 Point Loma Nazarene as the Sea Lions went on to knock off the Royals 8-1. The tandem of Freshman Johan Weich and Senior Felix Haufe secured the only point for the Royals in the only doubles match played on the day.
Weich and Sophomore Marko Kustudjia forced both of their singles matches to a third set but came up short.
The Royals were forced to forfeit two of the doubles matches and one singles match due to injury.
The loss dropped the Royals to 3-5, 0-4 GSAC while the Sea Lions improved to 5-3, 2-2 GSAC.
