4/15/2008 - Royals Lose to Broncos- Nationals Next

Pomona, CA- The Royals are stung by the injury bug once again as they fell to Cal Poly Pomona on Tuesday 6-3 to close out the regular season. Senior Capitan Felix Haufe was unable to compete which cost the Royals a potential of two more points that could have led to victory.

Junior Rajko Mladenovic, Sophomore Marko Kustudjia, and Freshman Johan Weich all won their single matches 2-0.

The Broncos won through the three doubles matches and the bottom third of the singles matches.

With the win, Cal Poly Pomona improved to 8-7 on the year. Hope International fell to 11-8 on the year.

The Royals have qualified for the NCCAA National Tennis Tournament at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN, beginning May 6th.
