Costa Mesa, CA- For the second time in three years, the Royals qualified for the GSAC Post Season Tournament and this year had the undaunting task of facing on #4 Vanguard on their home floor. Fullerton, CA- The regular season concluded for the Royals on Monday as they hosted #4 Vanguard- the Lions won 97-86. Combined the two teams launched 60 three point attempts though out the evening including 39 attempts in the first half. Fullerton, CA- The Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) announced today that Hope International University’s Freshman Guard Brittani Philbrook has been named the GSAC’s Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Last week, Philbrook, out of Norco High School in Norco, CA, averaged 16.5 points, 9 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 3 blocks, and 1 steal in two GSAC games.
