9/8/2007 - Women's Defeats Embry-Riddle

Fullerton, CA- Senior Lisa Teberg has played almost her entire career as a defender. On Saturday, Head Coach Aaron Siefker decided to sub Teberg in as a forward. The move paid off moments later as Teberg knocked in the only goal of the game in the 43rd minute. Freshman Harmony Pruett was credited with the assist as she deflected a cross off the goalkeeper and directly to Teberg. The goal was the first of Teberg's college career. The Royals had numerous chances as they out shot Embry-Riddle, 28-8, but could only score the one goal. The team has now posted two shutouts in a row.

The Royals are next in action on Tuesday versus La Sierra at 7:00 pm.
