12/19/2007 - Pruett Named 1st Team NCCAA All-American

Photo - Harmony PruettFullerton, CA- Hope International Forward Harmony Pruett has been named a National Christian College Athletic Association First Team All-American as announced today by the NCCAA National Office.

The All-American award comes after Pruett was named All-NCCAA National Tournament along with All-Golden State Athletic Conference.

Pruett, a freshman from Apple Valley, CA, lead the Royals in goals with 10 (tied for sixth in the GSAC). She also had two assists (tied for third on the team).

The speedster was at her best when she scored five goals in three games against William Jessup University, Simpson University, and Holy Names University- all Royal victories.

As the main offensive threat, Pruett helped the Women's Soccer team reach the NCCAA National Tournament for the first time in their history. They finished 5th at the National Tournament in Kissimmee, FL.

The Royals finished 11-8-2 overall and 3-6-1 in GSAC play. The 11 overall wins and 3 wins in conference set program season highs.
