5/3/2007 - Lisa Teberg named to Women's Softball All-GSAC Team
Junior Lisa Teberg has been selected to the Women's Softball All-GSAC Team. The 6-0 shortshop from Phoenix, AZ, finished the season tied for fourth in conference with 8 home runs. Teberg finished in the league's top 15 in batting average (.360), hits (45), and runs batted in (30).
Teberg's best games of the year came against St. Benedict from Minnesota and Doane from Nebraska. Against St. Benedict, she was 2-2 with a home run, a walk, 2 runs scored, 4 rbi, and a stolen base in a 11-3 Royals win. Doane was also unable to get Teberg out as she was 2-2 with a home run, a walk, 3 runs, and 3 rbi in 11-3 Hope victory.
This All-GSAC honor is the second of Teberg's career. She was selected as a freshman when she hit a Royals' single season record 12 home runs.
