2/6/2008 - Royals Shut Out in Season Opener
Orange, CA- Hope International opened their 2008 season with a 9-0 loss to Chapman. Three of the singles matches went 3 sets.
Junior McKenna Hamel had the best chance to pick up a point. She won the first set 7-5 and lost the second 5-7. The third set was played as a 10 point tie break that she lost 10-12.
Freshman Alexandra Weiss and Junior Brittney Munoz also forced 3 set matches.
With the loss, the Royals fell to 0-1 while the Panthers improved to 2-1.
