Jay Hewitt is the lead pastor at Friends Church Orange. This church is focused on reaching those who do not yet know Jesus as well as fighting for justice for the oppressed. Jay has dedicated his life to bringing heaven to earth and people to God. Hope International University is where his passion for God’s word and the gospel of Jesus Christ was cemented. After completing his undergraduate degree at Hope he went on to earn a Masters in Theology at Azusa Pacific University. Jay is also an adjunct Professor here at HIU, and he is married to one of our English Professors, Dr. Natalie Hewitt.
