Students learn to build curriculum and instruction that induces powerful learning to occur based on California Frameworks and Curricular Standards for grades 7-12. The course provides a framework to critically analyze edu-cational belief systems and decision-making processes, practices found in traditional educational settings and modern learning organizations, and cre-ation of a curricular benchmark for secondary school educators. Special Consideration: Candidates must complete EDU6512 Discipli-nary/Interdisciplinary Methods of Teaching in Secondary Schools, prior to enrolling in this course.
