Photo - Sandie Morgan, RN, MAThis introductory seminar will educate participants on commercial sexual exploitation of children as a form of human trafficking. The guest speaker will be Sandra Morgan, R.N., M.A., Administrator of the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force and Director of Vanguard University’s Global Center for Women & Justice. Participants will be able to identify at risk children and understand some of the challenges in serving this unique population of marginalized youth. The seminar will include a documentary which demonstrates the exploited youths experience, confusion, and difficult recovery path. A key aspect of the seminar will be addressing prevention models and resources.
