HIU Women’s Soccer to Host High School Camp

On Monday, July 29, the Hope International University women’s soccer team will host a three-day soccer camp for high school girls who are interested in being a collegiate student-athlete. Attendees will get to participate in drills and will be trained by college athletes, all in an effort to help them improve their skills and learn what it takes to compete at the collegiate level.

"We are very excited to host athletes who are interested in learning more about playing at the college level on the campus of Hope International University,” said Andrew Paine, Head Women’s Soccer Coach. “It will give us a few days to help instruct and empower them on how to get ready for the next level. They will spend quality time with our current players who will get to know them for their soccer ability but also for who they are as individuals."

In addition to the training, the camp includes staying in the HIU dorms two nights, enjoying meals in the cafeteria, campus tours and spending time with the Hope athletes and coaches. All players will also receive a free t-shirt. The price is $250 for all three days, including housing and meals.

The camp begins Monday at 4 p.m. and will conclude on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.
