Hope International University Again Named Military-Friendly School for 2013

G.I. Jobs magazine has again named Hope International University a military-friendly school for 2013 after a survey of over 12,000 schools. HIU takes pride in this honor of being ranked in the top 15% of all colleges, universities and trade schools nationwide.

HIU offers a number of military benefits including an active duty tuition discount, the Post 9/11 and Montgomery GI Bills, and accepts military credits earned through service schools. “They have done so much for us and it’s our honor to serve them by providing an excellent educational experience,” says Teresa Smith, Vice President for Enrollment Management. “Because of the special programs we have in place and because of our staff and faculty, we are able to provide an atmosphere of academic rigor while at the same time being conscientious of the development of the whole person. It’s the holistic approach and we see our military students really benefiting from this transformational educational experience.”

In the past year, a new military micro-site has been developed to provide servicemembers easier access to relevant information when they inquire online.
