9/26/11 Fullerton, CA – Hope International University Wins International Society for Science and Religion Library Award
Dr. Curtis Holtzen (pictured above), Associate Professor of Philosophy & Theology, who worked diligently with Robin Hartman, Director of Library Services, to secure the award, takes the first glance at the new books.
After a competitive judging process, Hope International University (HIU) has been selected as an International Society for Science and Religion (ISSR) Library awardee. HIU is one of only 150 institutions worldwide to receive the full ISSR Library set, which consists of 224 volumes that cover not only science and spirituality but also history, social science, philosophy, the environment and more.
Hope would like to extend a special thanks to Robin Hartman, Director of Library Services, and Dr. Curtis Holtzen, Associate Professor of Philosophy and Theology, for their efforts in helping secure the ISSR Library Award for the University.
