24/7 Prayer Vigil Begins Tuesday, November 1

Starting on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 12 p.m., Hope International University will be holding a 24-7 Prayer Vigil on campus through Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 12 p.m. Bryan Sands, Director of Campus Ministries, says they are challenging not only students, but also staff and faculty to come together to pray.

“The Bible is clear that God hears our prayers and still is active today,” Sands said. “We want to humbly come alongside God and ask Him to move in powerful ways throughout our campus and the world.”

The Prayer Vigil will take place in the Omega dormitories, Room 119, which will be redecorated for the event. Time slots are available starting at 30 minutes each, and signups will begin Thursday, Oct. 20, following chapel and will be open until the Vigil starts. Sands encourages people to signup but said anyone can visit the room to pray. Anyone interested in signing up can do so after chapel, in the hallways of the Lawson-Fulton Student Center during lunch, or in the Campus Ministries Department.

Prayer requests can be submitted to the Campus Ministries Department at
