Heirloom Shoppe Fall Fling Sale November 11-12

The Heirloom Shoppe, the University thrift store, will be holding its annual Fall Fling on Friday, Nov. 11, and Saturday Nov., 12. The special sale will feature Christmas items and gifts as well as jewelry, collectibles, crystal and glass ware, ladies dresses, and much more. The store is currently seeking additional volunteers and donations to help with the Fall Fling sale.

The Heirloom Shoppe was established by the Pacific Christian Women’s Association as a way of supporting the students of Hope International University (HIU). Profits made from the sale of donated items are sent to HIU to fund projects and scholarships. Last year, the Shoppe gave $21,000 to the University. The thrift store recently underwent extensive renovations to better serve its customers.

Since its doors opened in 1984, the Heirloom Shoppe has donated $850,000 to HIU for scholarships and projects. Located at 400 E. Commonwealth Ave in Fullerton and staffed with volunteers from HIU, the community, and local churches, the store is managed by Katherine Rowe, wife of Dr. John Rowe, Liaison to the Heirloom Shoppe and Senior Development Officer at Hope.

Contact Katherine Rowe on Mondays or Ruth Mullikin on Wednesdays between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. at 714-447-3016 for information on donations and volunteering.
