Happy House
On Wednesday, October 31st, Hope International University will be holding its annual Halloween event, "Happy House". Happy House is a fun and safe event for all age groups, and is open to the community. The event runs from 6:00 – 9:00 pm on the Fullerton campus and is completely free.
Happy House was designed years ago as a service opportunity for Hope students to give back to the community. Hundreds of students are involved each year to create a special and memorable night for children in the community.
College student Michelle Kleeman, Vice President of Programs of the Associated Student Body, says about the event: “My dream is that each child who comes to Happy House has the experience of being a prince or princess for the night. I want this Halloween to be a Halloween that the children will never forget!”
Just a few highlights of the evening include a bounce house, pony rides, a petting zoo, yummy food, face painting, skits, arts and crafts, and of course trick-or-treating with lots of candy! Just added this year is a haunted house in the boy’s dorms!
