02/04/05 Fullerton, CA - Hope International University hosts advisor to U.S. Department of Homeland Security
Hope International University will be hosting a campus visit on Monday, February 14, by Mr. Rich Davis, an alumnus of the university and now an advisor to the Secretary of Homeland Security.
Mr. Davis, who is the Director of Academe, Policy and Research for the Homeland Security Advisory Council, will be speaking about his own career pathway and his current position at a lunch for students and other members of the campus community beginning at 11:30 a.m. (PST) in the Christensen Dining Room of the Lawson-Fulton Student Center.
Mr. Davis will also be the featured guest lecturer for SSC3130- Social Science Methods presenting some of the Department of Homeland Security's current research projects.
Mr. Davis graduated from Hope International University in 1993 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Social Science and Finance. He also holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, a Masters degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University, and is expecting to receive a Masters degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in 2006.
