6/20/07 Fullerton, CA - Hope International University Builds Strong 2007-08 Athletic Program
Hope International University’s athletic program has made some strong acquisitions in several key sports over the summer. The HIU Women’s Basketball team will welcome three new faces this year: Shauna Ricker (Calvary Chapel High School), Brittani Philbrook (Norco High School) and Grace Casale (Western Christian High School). Men’s Basketball has also added Mario Neeley (Lakewood High School), Ryan Sewitsky (Menlo College) Brad Paterson (Christian Heritage High School) and Todd Hicks (Pomona High School- Arvada, CO). Women’s Volleyball picked up eleven new players to rebuild their roster. New recruits include Stephanie Coats and Chanel Gardner (Millikan High School), Rachel Ray (Pacifica High School), Ashley Travis (Temescal Canyon High School), Larissa Niu (Paloma Valley High School), Jocelyn Moya (Victor Valley High School), Lindsay White (Whittier Christian High School), Kelsi McAleese (La Serna High School), Shaina Record (Hemet High School), Jessica Morse (Sonora High School) and Amanda Potts (Scio High School- Scio, OR).
