Admissions

Admission Requirements

Students may enroll in SALT courses at three levels:

  • Audit: Audit students enroll in a course for personal enrichment without seeking university credit. They are given access to all online course materials, and may participate in group discussions and any other course activities. However, they are not required to submit assignments and do not receive a grade.
  • Undergraduate Credit: Students who enroll in a course for undergraduate (bachelor’s level) credit are required to complete all undergraduate readings and assignments, and they will have a final grade recorded on their University transcript. To enroll for undergraduate credit, students must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Graduate Credit: Students who enroll in a course for graduate (master’s level) credit are required to complete all graduate readings and assignments, and they will also have a final grade recorded on their University transcript. To enroll for graduate credit, students must hold an accredited bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

Students who wish to enroll in a single SALT course for audit or credit must provide basic information on a simple one-page application form (PDF).

Students who wish to apply SALT courses to a Bachelor of Science must fulfill the undergraduate admissions requirements found here. Students who wish to apply SALT courses to a Master of Arts in a ministry area must fulfill the graduate admissions requirements found here.
