Ryan Professional Clear Credential

Program Overview

The graduate Education Department exists to prepare servant leaders and effective educators who are able to demonstrate faith integration within all aspects of learning.

The 9 unit Ryan Professional Clear Credential is for teachers already possessing the Ryan Preliminary Credential and need to satisfy the requirements of the State of California, for the Clear Credential.

Five core objectives are stressed within the program.

  • Students will develop, articulate, and support their theory of learning based on current and emerging knowledge of how learning happens.
  • Students will value the diversity of culture, language and individual learning styles and abilities.
  • Students will be able to understand their work with children in the larger context of the school, the family, and the community.
  • Students will be active learners, committed to lifelong learning.
  • Students will demonstrate faith integration within all aspects of learning.

Admission Requirements

Applicants seeking to enroll in the Ryan Clear Credential courses must submit the following:

  • Completed Application for Non-Degree with a non-refundable $30.00 fee. (Fee waived for Hope alums)
  • A statement of purpose approximately 250 words indicating your reasons for entering the program of choice.

Probationary acceptance may be granted if other factors give evidence of the applicant's ability to successfully complete a program. The probationary status will be removed when the student has successfully completed nine semester units with a 3.0 G.P.A. or better.top

The following criteria serves as the major program assessment tool for the State of California's Ryan Professional Clear Credential:
