Associate of Arts

Program Overview

The School of Professional Studies' Associate of Arts degree (A.A.) exposes working adults to a wide range of knowledge and achievement in the Arts and Sciences. It develops critical thinking abilities, communication skills, and Christian values necessary to become productive servant leaders in church and society. And it equips students for more advanced, specialized studies in the Bachelor of Science program.

An associate's degree typically represents the first half of a bachelor's degree. Students graduating with an associate's degree should possess a basic foundation without specialization-an elementary grasp of general knowledge in the arts, humanities, and sciences, together with the basic tools for learning.

Designed for working adults, the program may be completed entirely online. Students typically complete the degree in just over two years. top
