POL4300 Justice (3)

This course presents a critical analysis of selected classical and contempo-rary theories of justice, including a discussion of present-day applications. The course examines debates about justice prominent in moral and political philosophy, and invites students to subject their own views on these contro-versies to critical examination. Throughout the course, possible contribu-tions these approaches can make to Christian social ethics, as well as con-tributions Christian ethical thought can make to the current philosophical and political theory debates will be considered and evaluated.
