Emphasis is placed on the broader concepts of information systems and literacy rather than computer systems and literacy. Develops the ability to envision, design, and evaluate computer based solu-tions to problems founding business, teaches the use of emerging hardware and software, and provides critical thinking and problem solving skills for understanding information systems concepts applied in any profession.
