Art Across Cultures

HUM2100 Art Across Cultures (3)

Students explore art forms in various cultures, and how art makes and communicates meaning within those cultures. The course focuses on fun-damental ideas, as well as historical and recent developments in literature, music, visual arts, and cinematography around the world. Participants con-sider the relationship between art, religious beliefs, and Christian faith, as they gain a deeper appreciation of the richness of expression across cul-tures.
