Transfer Students
Are you currently enrolled at a WA Community College? Or do you previously earn credits outside of Washington that you would like to apply toward a degree? Hope welcomes students with previous educational experience and we work to apply your previous learning toward a degree from Hope!
Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA)
Students who complete a 60-unit Direct Transfer Associate's degree (DTA) from a Washington community college qualify for junior standing in Hope International University's School of Graduate and Professional Studies. Such students will have fulfilled most or all of HIU's General Education Core requirements for a bachelor's degree. They may complete any remaining requirements as General Electives within the bachelor's degree.
To find out how your units will transfer into a degree program at Hope, request an evaluation of units by schedule an appointment with an Admissions Counselor (washington@hiu.edu) and faxing your transcripts to 888.509.7497.
