This final course in the series recognizes the dynamic, evolving environment in which BAM/SE is practiced and the unique issues they experience, especially when compared to traditional business, mission and development efforts. These distinct issues include: The pursuit, management and measurement of multiple bottom lines; ownership and governance (legal hybrid structures); operational (incubation); accounting (mixed funding, subsidization); marketing (stakeholder communications, cause related); human resources (mixed motivations; self-interest vs. altruism); and partnership and exit strategies.
