Spring 2010 Commencement
89th Commencement
May 15, 2010 at 10 a.m.
Lawson-Fulton Student Center Pavilion
Founded in 1928, Hope International University will celebrate its 89th commencement on May 15, 2010. The Spring 2010 graduates come from a student body of more than one thousand students drawn from 27 states and over 40 countries. The commencement speaker will be Andre K. Benton, President of Pepperdine University.
The graduates illustrate the University’s mission of preparing both professional and voluntary servant leaders for congregations and communities. They also illustrate the University’s expanding commitment to adult learners and international students who want to make a positive difference where they will serve. These individuals join over 4,000 graduates and more than 10,000 former students who carry Hope International University’s legacy of service and ministry to the church and society. Their achievement has been facilitated by a faculty qualified by both academic credentials and Christian service at a top Southern California christian university.
This commencement will celebrate Hope International University’s thirty-fifth academic year in Fullerton. Here, as earlier in Long Beach and Los Angeles, the University has maintained a diligent commitment to advance the mission of Christ around the world.
