Dusty has been married to Amy for over 25 years (they grew up in the same small Missouri town and started dating in high school). They have two sons, Asher (19) and Silas (14). Dusty has served in ministry at two churches, one in Missouri for 8 years and he’s been at Shepherd Church in Los Angeles for over 18 years. The majority of those years have been in youth and young adult ministry. He preaches most weeks at Shepherd’s Thursday Service, provides leadership development for Shepherd’s 18 to 34-year-old staff, and oversees the pastoral licensing process. He loves his family, podcasts, the church, the Kansas City Chiefs, and his black and white golden doodle named….Chief (because of course that’s his name!)
