Hope Counseling Center is located at the Orange Education Center of Hope International University. Hope Counseling Center is dedicated to providing quality counseling services to the university students, staff, faculty and families, as well as, the local community. Our program is designed to provide intense supervision and training to graduate students in the Marriage and Family Therapy program from Hope International University and other local MFT programs and MFT interns.

We strive to assist individuals and families to restore broken relationships, resolve life transitions, and develop more adequate and more satisfying interpersonal relationships. The client or clients meet one-on-one with a therapist weekly, usually in 50-minute sessions. The first few sessions consist of completing an extensive client history, reasons for coming to therapy, and a discussion of treatment goals. Therapy may last a few weeks or possibly months depending on the concerns involved.

Hope Counseling Center works within the scope of its resources to provide assessment, treatment and referrals to the community. For issues that are beyond the scope of our resources, we work to assist the individual in accessing the appropriate services.

At Hope Counseling Center counselors and therapists treat a wide range of serious clinical concerns including:
