Organizational Relationship: Reports to the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm (occasional nights and weekends when needed)
Position Summary: The Admissions Coordinator oversees the following: 1) the admissions process for all applications to the traditional on-campus programs, 2) the preparation of the admission reports, 3) management of primary email for TUG Admissions, 4) planning/coordinating all TUG Admissions campus visits, events, and annual outreach schedule, and 5) provides administrative assistance to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions
Duties & Responsibilities:
The mission of these duties is to provide exceptional customer service internally and externally to facilitate a smooth and responsive application process for all applicants, which will contribute to the attainment of the enrollment goals for the TUG Admissions Office and the University. The Admissions Coordinator will also oversee communication with prospective students via phone, email, and campus visits. The Admissions Coordinator will assist in coordinating a high volume of outreach/recruiting events and tours. Additionally, this position is responsible for processing all TUG applications, including creating and updating all application files and mailing communication to applicants.

Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred, with experience in customer service, customer relationship management (CRM), and event planning. Experience using Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Knowledge and Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including phone and email etiquette. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
Mental Demands: Self-motivation and ability to complete a high volume of repetitive tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Visual Demands: Extensive use of the computer monitor and proofreading.
Physical Demands: Extended intervals on the keyboard. Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
Environment: Friendly and fast-paced office environment involving regular contact with various departments of the university and prospective students and families.
Character: Must embody Christian character and be actively involved in a local church.
