Position Summary: The Admissions Coordinator oversees the following: 1) admissions process for all applications to the traditional on-campus programs 2) preparation of the admission reports, 3) management of primary email for TUG Admissions 4) planning/coordinating all TUG Admissions campus Visits, Events, and annual outreach schedule, and 5) provides administrative assistance to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions. 6)Manage and oversee the admissions student worker team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The mission of these duties is to provide exceptional customer service internally and externally to facilitate a smooth and responsive application process for all applicants, which will contribute to the attainment of the enrollment goals for the TUG Admissions Office and University. The Admissions Coordinator will also oversee communication with prospective students via phone, email, and campus visits, as well as lead the front-line customer service of the admissions front desk. The incumbent will assist in coordinating a high volume of outreach/recruiting events. Additionally, this position is responsible for processing all TUG applications, including the creation and updating of all application files and the mailed communication to applicants.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree, with experience in customer service, customer relationship management (CRM), and event planning. Experience using Microsoft 365 Applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Knowledge and Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including phone and email etiquette. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Must demonstrate an ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality: strong interpersonal skills and creative, problem-solving abilities.
Mental Demands: Must be self-motivated and able to complete a high volume of repetitive tasks, and work independently, as well as part of a team.
Visual Demands: Extensive use of a computer monitor, proofreading.
Physical Demands: Extended intervals on keyboard, able to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
Environment: Friendly, fast-paced, and competitive office environment. Extensive contact with various publics of the University and the general public requires exemplary customer service skills.
Character: Must embody Christian character and be actively involved in a local church.
