Legacy Church is looking for a true pastor who can shepherd the congregation into the presence of God through engaging worship experiences while also building and developing a thriving volunteer worship team. The ideal candidate will be proficient as a vocalist and musician, preferably with expertise in guitar and/or piano.

Education and experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Worship Ministry, Music, or a related field is preferred
3 or more years of relevant experience in a church or ministry setting
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Proficiency as a vocalist and musician, with expertise in guitar and/or keyboard
Lead worship both musically and verbally through transitions, use of scripture, and other moments that help the congregation engage more deeply in worship
Ability to work collaboratively with others
Strong interpersonal, relational, and communication skills
Lead and develop worship and production volunteers
Must be able to plan meaningful and formative worship services
Ability to lead, give direction to, and develop a band
Should work well with the Senior Pastor, staff, and volunteers
Understands how to spot and utilize the gifts of this gathered body of believers in worship
Needs to be able to create a positive, encouraging team environment
Should take initiative to improve, develop, and grow the worship ministry
Understanding of Planning Center Online and familiarity with other worship technologies and software.

Must be a team player
Approaches all things with humility and a teachable spirit
Self-starter who is strongly motivated and is passionate about the mission

Exhibits a spirit of flexibility
Should be attentive to and led by the Holy Spirit
