Pardon Our Progress!

Posted: June 16, 2020

Work in progress: we can't wait for you to see what we are doing to improve the Fullerton campus!

Current projects include:

  • Relocating Online and Graduate Admissions from Anaheim to the current Student Services area
  • Relocating Student Services to the current Bookstore location
  • Relocating the Bookstore nearer the entrance of the Student Center
  • Creating six new classrooms:
    • Carving two out of the second floor of the Darling Library
    • Segmenting Room 205 into three classrooms with movable partitions
    • Converting Christensen and Rotary Rooms into primary classrooms
  • Relocating Graduate Psych and Ed faculty, as well as the HIU Counseling Center from Anaheim to leased space in the ground floor of University House (in two phases)
  • Renovate the Pacific Auditorium/Theatre stage and upgrade lighting

We expect to complete the first four project listed above before the start of the Fall semester.  The permanent relocation of grad faculty and the Counseling Center to UH will be done no later than the end of the Fall semester.
