FULLERTON, CA :: On Saturday, December 17, 2022, Hope International University proudly held its 111th Commencement Ceremony in the Darling Pavilion of the Lawson-Fulton Student Center. Students earning graduate degrees, undergraduate degrees, and Spanish Track certificates were celebrated and cheered by the HIU faculty, staff, and an enthusiastic audience of loved ones and supporters.

HIU alumna Dr. Angie Richey (M.Ed. She encouraged the graduates to boldly pursue the dreams and opportunities God gives them, even when it appears impossible. Dr. Richie holds two master's degrees from HIU as well as a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Life Coaching from Regent University.

Three graduating students shared personal reflections on their HIU journey and lessons they've learned along the way Jacklyn Lascari-Cueva (traditional undergraduate), Rebecca Tietz (online undergraduate), and Pinkal Panchal (graduate studies).

Founded in 1928, the University moved to the Fullerton campus in 1973.
