The Royals won their inaugural home game on Saturday, January 23rd. Each of the 300 fans in attendance received a commemorative “Opening Day” baseball as a keepsake for this historic event. A special VIP reception was held for Hope Associates and dignitaries, featuring select seating and a catered dinner to perfect the evening.  A brief ceremony preceded the game, in which President John Derry threw the first pitch, and Placentia-Yorba Linda School District’s Superintendent Doug Domene and Principal of Valencia High School Rick Lopez (BS ’00) received certificates and special Royals jerseys in gratitude for their partnership.

The Royals will be hosting 26 home games at Valencia High School in Placentia. The GSAC Home Opener will be held on Friday, February 19th at 2:00pm.
