Whitney states, “Our education at HIU has been an invaluable contribution to the effectiveness of our work. Even more than the classroom learning, the relationships that we built with other students and the faculty and staff have ministered to us greatly in our marriage and parenting.

The most important thing I remember from HIU is that my professors cared about me. I remember that they knew what was going on in my life. They wanted me to grow and were not afraid to help me in my immaturity. They always believed I could be a better person, musician, and student than I thought I could be.”
