Hope International University Opens New Anaheim Campus

Hope International University has moved its online and graduate programs into a new facility in Anaheim.  The new 24,000 square foot facility, overlooking Angel Stadium, represents a major investment by HIU in the University’s graduate and online programs.  Enrollment growth and planned program expansion required the move from a nearby site in Orange where the University’s graduate and online programs had been located for about five years.

The new facility includes offices for 45 faculty and staff from the Colleges of Education, Psychology and Counseling, Ministry and Biblical Studies, and Business and Management.  The site is also home to academic coaches, recruitment staff and the HIU Counseling Center, which serves the community by offering counseling services on a sliding fee scale.

The site is expected to serve 150 to 200 graduate students, as well as about 500 online students, who will be served remotely from the facility.   Onsite classrooms are state of the art and will be used for graduate classes and some hybrid courses that combine both online and on-site components.

“HIU is pleased to have a presence in the City of Anaheim and we look forward to serving the surrounding community from the Stadium Towers location,” said President John Derry.  “This is an excellent facility where we can offer academic programs on site, and it will also serve as the base of operation for our extensive online course offerings. Students who complete their undergraduate and graduate degrees here will have a local and a global impact.”
