Voices Of Christian Thought (VOCT) Series Returns

The Pacific Christian College of Ministry and Biblical Studies proudly sponsors the 2016-17 Voices Of Christian Thought (VOCT) Series . VOCT will feature four thoughtful speakers this school year to present lectures and to engage in dialog.

These special lectures are open to the public and will be held in Room 205 at 7:00pm-9:00pm on select dates.

·         Monday, Sept. 26th  - Ann Hidalgo (Ph.D.), Claremont School of Theology, Specialist in Latin American Liberation Theologies

·         Tuesday, October 25th - Stephen Backhouse (D.Phil) – Oxford University, Author of Kierkegaard’s Critique of Christian Nationalism and Kierkegaard: A Single Life

·         Monday, March 6th - Mitzi Smith (Ph.D), Harvard University, Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity, Ashland Theological Seminary

·         Monday, April 10th  - Vincent Lloyd (Ph.D.), University of California Berkeley, Associate Professor of Theology and Religious Studies, Villanova University
