Dr. David A. Finesy currently lives in Grayson, Kentucky and is married to his wife Molly. Together they have two children, Amanda and Jeannie. Dr. Fiensy has studied at several Prestigeous universities that include: Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Duke University, Duke Divinity School, St. Louis University Divinity School and Theological Consortium, Xavier University, Edgecliff College, and Cincinnati Christian University. Dr. Fiensy has been a Professor and a Dean at Kentucky Christian University. Fiensy has experience as a Pastor at First Christian Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Dr. Fiensy also has many publications dating from 1981 to 2017.
