This course is designed to provide knowledge about Western European and classical music to enrich students understanding of music and Western culture. Topics will cover historical and philosophical aspects of music, in-cluding representative musicians and musical genres from each period of Western European history. The course is accompanied with audio and vis-ual presentations.
